Zakat Calculator
Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Muslims who meet the nisab threshold must give 2.5% of their qualifying wealth to eligible recipients.
This free zakat calculator lets you enter the value of gold, silver, cash, receivables, investments and business assets, then subtracts your debts. If the net amount is above the nisab, it calculates 2.5% zakat.
Important: This is an educational estimate. For religious obligations, confirm the nisab with a local scholar and pay zakat through a certified NGO or trusted organization. This tool does not collect any money.
Formula
Zakatable wealth = gold + silver + cash + investments + receivables − debts If ≥ nisab: Zakat = wealth × 0.025
Example
Gold = ₹2,00,000. Cash = ₹1,50,000. Investments = ₹1,00,000. Debts = ₹50,000. Nisab = ₹50,000. Zakatable wealth = ₹4,00,000. Zakat = ₹10,000.
